Interactive Pro — Privacy Notice

Interactive Pro is a project management application operated by Bee Interactive. It lets its users manage projects, tasks, time tracking and planning, and synchronise their Apple iCloud and Google calendars with their planning dashboard. This notice explains which personal data Interactive Pro collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. Who is responsible

2. Data we collect

• Account data: your name, email address and password (stored as a one-way hash).
• Content you create: projects, tasks, time entries, reminders, documents and the other content you enter in the application.
• Apple iCloud calendars (only if you connect them): your Apple ID email address and the app-specific password you provide, plus the calendars and events described in section 3.
• Google calendars (only if you connect them): the data described in section 3.
• Technical data: logs and error reports needed to operate and secure the service.

3. Google user data

When you choose to connect a Google account in Settings → Calendars, Interactive Pro asks for the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar scope and accesses:

• the email address of the Google account, used to identify the connection in your settings;
• the list of calendars you can edit (calendar identifier, name and colour);
• the events of the calendars you enable: title, description, location, start and end times, time zone, all-day flag, recurrence rules and exceptions, reminders, and the iCalendar data of the event;
• the OAuth access token and refresh token issued by Google.

How we use Google user data

Google user data is used only to provide the calendar synchronisation feature that you turn on:

• to display the events of the calendars you enabled in your own planning dashboard and in the Interactive Pro mobile app;
• to write back to Google Calendar the events you create, edit or delete in Interactive Pro;
• to keep both sides in sync automatically, and whenever you ask for a refresh.

Your calendars and events are visible only to you. They are not shown to other users of Interactive Pro.

What we never do with Google user data

• We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising, including personalised or retargeted advertising.
• We do not transfer it to third parties, except as necessary to provide the calendar synchronisation feature, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets with notice to you.
• We do not use it to develop, improve or train generalised or non-personalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and we do not send it to any artificial intelligence service.
• We do not allow humans to read it, unless you give us your explicit consent for specific data (for example to investigate a support request), it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or it is required by law.
• We do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

Limited Use disclosure

Interactive Pro's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Storage and security

• Data is stored in the Interactive Pro database on our hosting provider's servers and is always transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
• OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens and app-specific passwords are encrypted at rest.
• Access to calendar data is restricted to the user account that connected it.

5. Retention and deletion

• Calendar events are kept only while the corresponding calendar is enabled. Disabling a calendar in Settings → Calendars immediately deletes its events from Interactive Pro.
• Disconnecting an account in Settings → Calendars immediately deletes its tokens or password, its calendars and their events from Interactive Pro. Your events in Google Calendar or iCloud are not affected.
• You can revoke Interactive Pro's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To also remove the copies already stored, disconnect the account in your settings or contact us.
• You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at info@bee-interactive.ch. We handle such requests within 30 days.

6. Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers that process data on our behalf and under our instructions: our hosting provider, Bugsnag (error monitoring), Laravel Nightwatch (application monitoring), Pusher (real-time updates) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (mobile push notifications). We do not share Google user data with them for their own purposes.

7. Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can request access to your personal data, its correction or deletion, a copy in a portable format, and object to or restrict its processing. Send your request to info@bee-interactive.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local supervisory authority.

8. Children

Interactive Pro is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 16.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
